ClearBeer

About

Built in a working brewery.

ClearBeer started as an internal tool. It exists because the software we could buy was either built for factories or built by people who had never dumped a batch.

Why we built it

We kept production records the way most small breweries do: a whiteboard in the cellar, a spreadsheet for inventory, a second spreadsheet for TTB, and a shared understanding that the person who knew where things stood should probably not go on holiday.

The tools on the market solved that for regional breweries with a full-time controller. For everyone under about three thousand barrels, they cost more than the problem and assumed a process nobody actually followed.

So we wrote the thing we wanted: a system that matches how a small brewery really runs, captures data once, and turns it into the reports the government wants without a second round of typing.

What we believe

  • Data gets entered once, by the person holding the hydrometer.
  • Software should match the process, not the other way round.
  • Your production history belongs to you, exportable in full.
  • Compliance is a by-product of good records, not a separate chore.

Where we stand

Small on purpose.

Independent

No investors setting the roadmap.

Self-hosted

Your data on infrastructure we run and you can leave.

Brewers

Built by people who work brew days.

Ready when you are

Come see it.

We would rather show you the software against your own process than send a brochure.
